Seventh chapel of the Pantheon Basilica in Rome - Annunciation

The seventh chapel of the Pantheon is dedicated to Saint Boniface IV.

The baptismal font was there until 1824 when the Pantheon ceased to be a parish.

On the back wall is a 15th-century fresco attributed to the workshop of Melozzo da Forli (1438-1494) and representing the “Annunciation”.

Finally, two superb marble angels from the workshop of Gian Lorenzo Bernini are on either side of the two columns of the chapel.

These two angels were offered to the Pantheon Church by Cardinal B. Tomasi in 1696.
